hospital review

so I had to stay over at the hospital for the first time last night. all in all it was okay, I guess, but I could not find the complimentary aveda beauty products anywhere, and the minibar was woefully understocked.

do not get me started. have these people never heard of frette? they cannot expect me to be remotely competent the next morning when I am forced to bed down between sheets of sandpaper.
and the lighting: atrocious! how am I supposed to convalesce under the harsh glare of overhead fluorescent lighting?

some egyptian cotton and an accent lamp or two would go a long way in reducing medical error, I should say.

p.s. room service was a joke. the front desk staff were conspicuously absent, and the concierge was nowhere to be found. good luck getting a nightcap!

How do you think the patients like the linens and the room service? Perhaps you should suggest to the government that they start redoing hospitals to be like five star hotels. Evening turndown and chocolate anyone?
