I must recommend the city of toronto archives website. they have thousands of sweet photos from the past 100 or so years. I am talking subways, streets, construction, train tracks, buildings, aerial shots, streetcars, sweet vintage styles, highways, black and white photos, bridges, that sort of thing. please do not visit the website too much though, as it has been kind of sluggish lately.

simon, i think you should give up being a doctor and join me in the library world - check out the New York City Public Library site for their huge collection of old photos of new york! (in digital collections)
wow thanks a lot bronwen, I have really been trying to get a lot of studying done you know, and then you come in here trying to intice me onto the internet with juicy websites. okay fine I will go look at it, twist my arm.
