as I groaned under the weight of a box full of coffee table books, mila, from her recumbent position on the sofa, helpfully added that I might want to label the box once I was done packing it. "the sharpies live in the kitchen drawer!" she further noted, as she took a sip of her tea.

I think we should all reserve judgment until it is determined who is responsible for your joint ownership of a box's worth of coffee table books.

that box is now the least of my concerns; more problematic are the alinea and gordon ramsay books, among others, which are simply too bloated to fit in any reasonably sized carton.
