Were you listening in when I was watching??? While I did like KD Lang, the whole thing seemed completely disjointed - a terrible pop song being "sung" while First Nations people dressed in "typical" clothing danced around - some guy they found on youtube ranting like a college freshman (from the "beat" generation), leaves floating around, some guy with a visible harness flying in the air, punk Riverdance people. Yesh. Anyone watching would think we are some sort of crazy country! Where was David Foster the great producer? Michael Buble? Celine? Joni Mitchell IRL instead of a recording??? And don't get me started on the torch bearers waiting around for the four poles to rise up from the stage. Our Christmas pageant is better produced!
