chi-town
with alinea (known for its lavender air, and whose current menu lists "transparency" as one of the courses) booked, mila needed something to sate her appetite for more solid food. "the meatloaf bakery" was deemed too far from the hotel (alas, no "el loafo del fuego" for mila), so it appears that she will have to do with "mr. beef". apparently a chicago institution, mr. beef specializes in the italian beef sandwich (think philly cheesesteak without the cheese); if a bun topped with piles of sliced beef, doused in jus, and available with an optional italian sausage cannot appease the mila, then surely nothing can.

True story: I'm family friends with Mr. Beef's meat supplier, if you ever want me to hook you up.
hook me up!!!!
I wonder if they have a zone version.
alinea sounds positively zone, what with courses of vapours and airs. not so sure about mr. beef.
